Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (iim ranchi)

iim ranchi projects & assignments
It gives me immense pleasure to see the growth of IIM Ranchi over the last three years. The mentorship of IIM Calcutta and the strategic directions that the Board set for the Institute have made it one of the fastest growing Institutes.
Our efforts to devise a market oriented curriculum to produce  industry-ready managers have been richly rewarded by the good  acceptance of the first two batches of our students. The 2 year  full-time PGDHRM launched last year based on curriculum designed  in consultation with NHRDNhas also received overwhelming  response  from the Industry.
Apart from courses by our competent core faculty, close to 50% of  the courses are taught by visiting faculty from the Industry and other leading institutes in India and abroad. We also have a number of industry leaders visiting IIM Ranchi to give guest lectures. We also organize different industry conclaves to bring the industry and academia come close to each other.
IIM Ranchi believes in the holistic development of its students. We impart value oriented education that stresses humility, honesty and hard work. We also try to instil social sensitivity in the minds of the students. Our curriculum offers courses on Indian culture, inner development and a compulsory yearlong social project with a local NGO. Consequently our students are well-rounded and have a high level of maturity to deal with the present day business problems.
We have always attracted the best brains from across the country. Our profile of students includes 25% girls and quite a sizeable proportion of non-engineers. The diversity in the campus offers great opportunity to learn from each other.
The Board and I look forward to the continued support from industry and business organizations in India and abroad to our Endeavour to develop bright, young and highly motivated managers for them.

National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (NIAEM)

MANAGE was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India as an autonomous Institute, from which its acronym ‘MANAGE’ is derived. In recognition of its importance and expansion of activities all over the country, its status was elevated to that of a National Institute in 1992 and re-christened to its present name i.e., National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management. MANAGE is the Indian response to challenges of agricultural extension in a rapidly growing and diverse agriculture sector. The policies of liberalization and globalization of the economy and the level of agricultural technology becoming more sophisticated and complex, called for major initiatives towards reorientation and modernization of the agricultural extension system. Effective ways of managing the extension system needed to be evolved and extension organizations enabled to transform the existing set up ...
